Inspection Overview

• Check the client's requirements and verify sourcing, packaging, shipping.
• Investigate supplier's reputation and evaluate their business and standards and procedures.
• Go to local vendor’s warehouse and conduct an on-site inspection regarding their inventory and management.
• Confirm the quantity of parts stated in original order, inspect the condition of the packaging.
• Verify the lot code and determine whether parts are from the same batch or bulk.
• Compare product to the manufacturer’s specifications, do visual inspections on markings and package dimensions
• Perform a marking permanency test of top marking and verify the authenticity of products.
• Inspect part leads for evidence of prior use, refurbishment, or oxidation.
